[It would take Barry a fraction of that to get there, but he's giving a buffer for tardiness. Because he's a good bro.

That, and he wants to make sure he's got Barry's present wrapped and ready to go. If he thinks Cisco forgot his birthday, he's sorely mistaken.]

[And he's there in fifteen minutes and a flurry of wind because well. It's Barry. He's always late.

I don't know about you, but I'm starving. I lost track of time today and totally forgot lunch.

[Inside the box is a brand new Flash suit. He's had to toy with the fabrics and the tech inside since STAR Labs and its infinite resources aren't a thing here, but it's friction proof and it's red and it'll provide some protection for his best friend.]

The comms in the suit are already linked with the main console at the lab in case you need backup.

[Barry sucks in a breath, fingers toying with the fabric.] You know after the sentencing, I thought I'd never see this again.

You've had it back for a couple weeks when I'm from, if that makes you feel any better.

I figured you've probably gone through a lot of clothes since you've been here, so at least it's friction-proof. Let me know if anything needs to be fixed.

[Cisco stares at the message. He doesn't think he's ever seen gratitude from Savitar before, either before or after coming to New Dodge.]

A weather machine went haywire in the dome causing lightning storms. And yes, that happened.

Weather machine. Is that how you guys simulate Earth's atmosphere inside the dome?

I think the power plant does that.

The weather machine was some moron's attempt to generate rain, snow or other things in the dome. We'd taken it apart when half the dome got several feet of snow while the other half got a flooding thunderstorm.

Someone tried to put it back together and it pretty much instantly went insane.

...still, probably not as bad as last month's faceless dog attack.

Yeah, I'm thinking that the weather machine probably needs to be scrapped.

Tony scrapped it, I think. And then I ran the pieces outside the dome.

Julie and I are going to be taking Barry to the movies as a post-birthday surprise. You should come with us.

[He's got Savitar, all but a brother now and a damn good friend. He's got Cisco now and with the suit he can run at speeds he wants without worrying about burning through his clothes. And with no Devoe, he can breathe so much easier. It's not up to him to protect all of New Dodge.]

Thank you. This is just perfect. [Just him and Cisco and he's trying so very hard not to think about how many times he'd wanted that back home.]
