Concerning my blood, you might want to store that away from the others.
It's called Dheronian Metal. It's something that has a limited way of harming us. However, if I do construct the needle for you I'd prefer to keep it in my own safe place. And whenever you, my doctor or Kara's need it, I can retrieve it for her. Or she can.
Because anyone else gets my blood it could, depending on how reckless they are, cause them to go into transition. They'd have to feed and turn into a vampire or die a permanent death.
Hopefully by that time myself and Kara have people we trust with our lives. So they can be told if it comes down to it.
