Please, don't make it public, no mare than it has to be. It happened back home what I thought I was insane...maybe I am still, but if I am, at least the people here are real.

[She still wondered some days if New Dodge was a side effect of the mediation, but if it was, she never wanted to wake up.]


I'll look through them again, see if anything stands out. [She smiles slightly.] Yeah well, Harry was the first person in my life to see real value in me. To not treat me like I was broken or fragile. I'll do my best to look through them, but even if I find him, he's not going on the expedition, he'll be staying here. With the kids. [As in, she's going.]

Nica, you’re not only the sanest person I know, but also no one who truly knows you is ever going to call you fragile. While I’m complimenting you, you’re an amazing mum, and will make the best aunt.

No matter who goes, [the idea’s been bandied about but the official decision is two days away] one of them staying put is Harry, anyone named Harry.

Agreed. Besides, we can't both go. If things go bad, someone has to be here for Seth and Sarah.
