We have a few patients with nanotech implants, and the ah...doctor who implanted them fluxed out a little while back. They tend to need monitoring. I am very well versed in cybernetic implants and such, but seeing as how I'm one of the patients, I really don't think it's a good idea if I be the one monitoring it full-time.
[We're sure he knows there's something under that tone. They do, after all,
live in the same house and he's probably picked up on a few of her nuances.]
I loved being here and seeing you well before, well, ME! It's an opportunity I feel blessed to have had, and I can't wait to go home and talk about this with you, just the older you.
At the same time, I wish we had more time together. Tell Mummy, I love her and I'm sorry for being such a shock. We both know Mummy likes things just so, and suddenly having a grown daughter appear is definitely not in her version of just so.
Sorry again about the lab, but I'm going to let you in on a secret room I picked to work in afterward. It'll look beautiful as a nursery some day.
I love you and Mummy. You're both amazing women. I know how lucky I am.
Love, your daughter, Alice Rose
PS: Greene pegs me as a sucker from infancy. He gets really, really, REALLY, fat. Keep an eye on my vegetables. I'm terrible about eating them. He isn't. ~ARSJ
[Okay, so she might've claimed she's going to feed Greene before he rests for the sunny part of the day. In truth, she's sneaking out, but she does leave a note. The note may leave a lot more questions than she intended, but she's trying. Vagueness was never her strong suit.]
Daisy,
Off to a quick trip to meet Allison for Town Council business. She'll check all my bumps and bruises and other things while I'm with her. Two meetings in one is the epitome of efficiency. With everything that's gone on, we thought it necessary and it should only take a couple of hours.
There's coffee in the pot, and Greene's been fed. Don't believe him if he tries to pretend otherwise. I'll pick up something freshly baked on the way home.
[ After Jemma's disappearance, once...whatever is controlling a small series of nanomites in Harry's brain and using a non-registered TC to send these things has figured out that Jemma is NOT going to be responding any longer...well. It starts sending a series of texts to everyone she knows that could be involved. ]
Restore life the way it should be, so just hush, baby shut up: baffle the cold bashing through to midnight. Loud loud shrieking and burning in the darkness but cold so cold.
[Jemma will make sure there's a soft beep to get Daisy's attention. Sure, Jemma's trying out this alone thing, but the part of her still terrified of being lost for another 10 days has her dropping other hints.]
Got a ping on the new TC3.5 It was four minutes of annoying noise. It has to be Harry, our Harry.
I'm going to the park to meet him. Greene's coming with me.
I'm trying to be independent and not take up every second of your day. You're likely sick of me, but you know where to find me.
And it was Boone Clemens. I identified the man who held me captive. I've informed Sheriff Queen.
If I'm not back in half an hour, come find me. (Or less, if you miss me.)
[Daisy's not particularly happy that Jemma's gone off after Harry. It's not
that she doesn't trust Harry, it's just that she nearly lost the woman once
already. She's not ready to have a repeat of it.]
Maybe I like you taking up every second of my day, Jemma. I'm not liable to
get sick of you because I love you.
Has Sheriff Queen mentioned anything about bringing him in?
If you're not back sooner than that I'll come find you.

Do you have any experience with nanotechnology and it's implementation on a medical level?

I'm not sure that we need DNA, Jemma. She's beautiful, wonderful and she's ours.

Could you make sure Greene's taken to the bunker? With how he's been sticking close to you, it would be easiest if you take him.
[That's her pretense for sending this message. Way to play it cool, Simmons.]
And I'm staying up top with the crew. Thought you'd want to know.
[Smooth, slipping that in there since Harry's poking at her to do it.]
Re: 12/10
I'll make sure that he gets to the bunker.
[Even if she'd rather not deal with the bunker herself. She'd rather be out in the thick of things, not laying low.]
You should be here not staying up top.

1/16: laaaaate in the day
Charlie's missing.
Bringing Wendy home. Picking up her things now.
Re: 1/16: laaaaate in the day
Do we know where she is?
[After a moment]
I'll make sure that everything is childproof.
[FROM JEMMA'S TC, 2/1]

Re: [FROM JEMMA'S TC, 2/1]
Stay safe and let me know when you get in.

It's also not how she wanted to spend the day. ]
This is not how I wanted to spend this particular day.
You're so pretty. I'm just going to lie here and stare at you.
Re: 2/14
[She doesn't mind that Jemma is using the TC even though they're in the same room.]
It's not how I wanted to spend the day either, beautiful.
You can stare at me all you want. I don't mind.
