Oh, ecstatic. What did you do in New York?

[New York wasn't a subject that he talked about much. That was the last time he'd spent with his big sister. The last time they'd really talked before coming home because of Peter and the idea of him waking from his coma.]

Odd and end jobs, really. We didn't have to work if we didn't want to.

But I worked on cars for the most part while Laura managed the books for the place.

Well, I mean...there's a mechanic's garage. People have cars. Not everyone, but enough.
