[That she willingly puts herself in front of her father shows how much she loves her siblings. In her time, she only talks to him when one of her siblings asks her to.

She knocks, dressed head to toe in leopard print.]

He meets her at the door, his umbrella monster following close behind him.]

[Krystyna tolerates whatever skulking might happen and doesn’t blink twice at the umbrella monster. It takes a lot to phase her. She works with toddlers.]

[She’s going to look about for her siblings.]

[She may be joking, but he's not.]

Two solar flares. My mum’s Jemma Simmons. I was the biggest shock of her life.

[She’s being exceptionally polite to her father. She really wants time with her siblings.]

[ Given that he's spent time in the bunkers every solar flare since Malina, he's assuming that means the bunker does nothing. ]

Thankfully, she kept me and she’s the best mum. Dad too.

[That just slipped out. She calls Lyoshka “dad” as naturally as she calls Jemma “mum.” So now she has to go with it.]

I call Lyoshka “dad.” You know that, well, you will know that.

Do I get to see them now? My siblings? We’re all super close.

Do you. [ He's certainly not charmed by that, it would seem. ]

[ The 'do you' may have a different meaning for her than him, it seems. ]

Because I love my siblings more than anything and if I’m stuck in the past what may make it enjoyable is spending time with them while they’re tiny?

[He tilts his head, looking puzzled for a moment.]

No. Why do you call him that?

‘Cause he’s my dad? We just didn’t have that much to do with each other.

[She doesn’t remember a time when this wasn’t true, going to him with any hurts, or nightmares, or plain old groaning at him for dad humour was always done with Lyoshka.

She chose Lyoshka as her dad and that’s the way it’s always been. Even as a toddler she cried around the Nogitsune.]

If you’re worried about how I get along with my siblings, it’s great. Malina’s here too, you can ask her. They’ll be perfectly safe with me.

[It's probably clear from his expression that he's not exactly trusting this yet.]

How do you keep Alva from harming people?

When he’s little? Just keep Alicia with him. When he’s older, he’s responsible for himself, but it’s rare for Alicia to be far. She’s too good.

[And yet she still loves Alva like he’s the cutest puppy. It’s unconditional love. ]

[He eyes her for a moment, before shrugging.]

[Another pause, and then.]

You do realize any human 'father' won't be able to help you create your tails. Don't you? Do you have them?

You realize I can hear how much you think of my human father. He loves me. That’s what I need.

I don't know him.

[ Nor does he want to. ]

...are you under the impression I don't love my children?

He’s wonderful. I’m lucky to have him.

We’ve never mixed well. Mum says we’re oil and water. It’s not her fault though. I don’t want you thinking that.

Then who's would it be?

We don’t get on. It’s one of those things. It’s nobody’s fault.

Right. [ He eyes her again, but shrugs. ] Fine. Where are you taking them?

Park, then ice cream.

[by park she means several hours of playtime and running them around. Shecan play enough games to keep them interested.]

By the time I’m done, they’ll all need a nap.
