More efficiently than it used to. We trade off and on, and we have a list of 'deals' and 'compromises' that we make in exchange for other things. We also leave messages for each other to keep each other up to date. For the most part.

I've grown tired of simply using her sleeping hours as a time for me to roam free, as well as curiosity.

How is it that you two came to the arrangements? It is possible for me to communicate with her, but it is not the easiest.

We left each other messages. I used to be able to talk to him in dreams, but things...occured and that is different now.

And how long did it take for things to settle as they are now?

A year, maybe more.

So patience would be key.

Patience and the want to have more than what others believe you are due.

It was probably more of the latter.
