First off? I want to clarify that this has nothing to do with Uncle Gene's wedding, gorgeous and amazing and surprising as it was. This has everything to do with the fact that Mike and I have been at each others side for years through an insane amount of bullshit, and the only thing capable of taking us away from each other couldn't even manage it for long.

Would you think it was too soon or too weird if I propose to Mike?
