Every nanomite patient receives the same message.

Hi Harry,

There've been some recent discoveries in regards to the nanomites. All the original ones have deeply embedded dormant programming. My new programmer, Oswin Oswald, and myself are looking for a way to update everyone's nanomites without first removing them from the patients. We're also hoping that with the removal of this programming, each nanomite can handle more, so patients won't have to have as many in the future.

It's to do with pain and behaviour management. It's not a benefit to anyone, so we want to do away with it.

Yes, that's exactly what it is, but the programming is dormant and Rex isn't here to activate it. Still, we plan on removing it as soon as possible.
