Yes, saying such things can be seen as bad luck, but since there’s no such thing as bad luck, right now, it’s the safest place for the philosopher’s stone.
Until you can build something closer, or a vault for it in the meta lab that’s discussed?
Actually, I'd say that there is. There's a meta in my world and I assume in Barry's version as well who emits a quantum field that alters local probability to favor her positively which in turn causes everyone else to suffer negatively. Before that happened, nothing good had ever happened to her.
That still doesn't answer the question of what if I need it.
Re: 10/3
What if one of the people in the cocoons was pregnant? Would you even know what effect it could have on the baby?
[Yes, she went there. That's because she is there, but she's not admitting that.]
Re: 10/3
The baby would have meta-powers, and the mother would exhibit those powers for the nine months of pregnancy.
Re: 10/3
[In that way, she agrees with him.]
And what if the power was dangerous? What then?
Re: 10/3
Re: 10/3
[Pull back, Jemma.]
Never mind, it's a theoretical question anyway.
[Yeah, Jemma Simmons SUPER SPY.]
Is there a chance we could put the philosopher's stone in the vault, or build one closer to you where nothing could get at it?
Re: 10/3
[ He's not buying it. ]
What vault?
Re: 10/3
[Well, she believed him when he said being away from the philosopher’s stone was bad, so one falsehood will stand.]
There’s a vault, in C&P where the most volatile objects are kept. So far, it’s been impenetrable.
Re: 10/3
That seems pretty far. What if I needed it?

Re: 10/3
And doesn’t that lend even more credence to my point that it’s best if the sone is locked away?
[Jemma’s way more testy than usual and wants that stone away from everything!]
You can retrieve it when you need it. It’s not permanently kept from you, just from everything else in New Dodge.
Re: 10/3
[ Jemma, meet petulant!Savitar. ]
I'll think about it.
Re: 10/3
[Jemma’s own reason for stubbornness is greater than yours, Savitar.]
It would be better if you made the decision rather than have it taken out of your hands.
Re: 10/3
[ IS it, though? ]
In other words, if I say 'no', you'll take it anyway.
Re: 10/3
[Hells yes. Jemma’s going to be one hell of a mama bear.]
I’ll come up with a solution myself, yes. I’d rather you do it so you can have the access you need, but the town’s not at risk.
Re: 10/3
I said I would think about it.
Re: 10/3
Think harder. I expect some sort of solution soon.
Re: 10/3
Re: 10/3
But I've got the clear impression you'll hate anything I come up with.
[She's also under the impression something will be done, even if he snorts and stamps his feet while he does it.]
