[And it's like Wanda could see more in how he carries himself, asks if she truly does believe in him. She nods, decisive]

If anyone can. You can. You have the safety and interest of all of us at heart.

You know I can see into people's minds, right?

You can deflect all you wish. But I think you have the best interest of all of us at heart.

[She pushes herself off the wall and walks over closer to him. There's no glow to her to signify her using her powers.]

"Not everyone." Eyeing her for a moment. "For instance, I don't care what happens to Malcolm Merlyn."

She frowns immediately.

"The man with the kitten?"

[vivifier]

"That's the one."

[weirdexperiment]

"Most of us, then."

She looks up at the labs.

"Do you really spend all your time here?"

[vivifier]

"All of it? No. The research lab also. Sometimes the library, or the movies." He's not that sheltered, thankfully.

"Hard to believe, I haven't seen you other than this time and the few times before at some kind of laboratory," Wanda notes.

[vivifier]

"Maybe you're just not where I've been."

[weirdexperiment]

"Perhaps not. I should look at movies more often instead of just working and hiding away." Perhaps she's the one that had been keeping herself away.

[vivifier]

"Is that what you've been doing?"

[weirdexperiment]

She gives a small shrug.

"I am doing what I know to do to get through what happens here."

[vivifier]

"Like what?"

[weirdexperiment]

"Just working at that bookstore. Not much so far. Life is rather quiet without missions."

[vivifier]

"Do you like it there?"

[weirdexperiment]

"I do. It's funny." Wanda gives a small smile, turning her face up at the skies. "I forgot what it was like to live some kind of normal life."

"It's easy to forget."

[weirdexperiment]

She nods, recalling what it was like before she came to New Dodge.

"And hard to get used to again."

[weirdexperiment]

"But eventually you do, don't you?" she asks.
