The sign is still new, but heralds it as Rogues Gallery Casino and Bar. Remodeling and rearranging of things is almost done (or never done when you're a perfectionist).] And here we are.

[She looks up at it]

Catchy name. Why a casino and bar?

I needed something to do. [He can't exactly go rob banks for a living now. Well he could, but still..] Besides, when a man like me can walk into a casino and rob it blind at the tables it clearly needed new management. The mayor was good enough to let me buy it from the Council.

[That gets her attention]

At least you're going onto the straight and narrow now.

Who said anything about that? [A devilish smirk as he leads her back to a quieter portion of the bar. A beer for him and of course, whatever the lady might like.]

A wine, please. Chablis.

[She takes in the entire place and looks at him again]

You have a legitimate business, Leonard. Unless you're robbing from yourself.

[It only takes him a moment to find a decent bottle of wine for her, uncork and pour a glass. He offers a brief shrug and a smile that might almost be teasing.] And what would the fun be if I told you all my secrets this early?

[She holds up her glass in a toast]

What fun would it be if I gave them away so early? [A sly smile as he clinks the neck of the beer bottle against her glass.] As things quiet down we'll open up properly. Run the tables a little tighter.

The ghosts. At the moment people are a little too distracted, I think, to really feel like hitting the tables.

I have no idea. I've only been here a couple of weeks but in looking through the network it seems like things go off the rails on the regular.

[So he might be preening. Just a little.] I cheated at the tables until I won enough to buy the place back from the town.

[There's that look and she shakes her head]

And what are you exactly planning with this place?

[She hopes something good.]

[Yeah that won't work. He's been on the receiving end of that look from her son already plenty of times.]

I don't plan on going back so.. I may as well do this to keep myself busy.

[She's quiet as she considers it. Nora takes a sip of the wine.]

It's very tempting not to go back. Especially after learning that your time there is so limited. But if I don't...Barry might not have the life he has now. He seems to love it.

You at least still have some of your life to live. [He takes an idle sip of his beer, leaning his hip against the bar.] I came here shortly before the explosion that will kill me.

It makes sense to stay here, then.

[She wonders if he could have just travel back in time instead.]

They told me that they should be able to send me back in about six months.

Six months. Not a bad length of time to get to know your kids. [Not that he has any plans on going back, not if he can't help it.]

I don't even know if I'd remember all of this going back.

[Her mind hadn't remained idle during this]
