Yeah. I do. thank's again for taking care of our girl. I hope she didn't cause too much trouble.

She was fine. Steve helped take care of her and she spent a few nights with David and Grace. [Nope there's no change in expression when he mentions Steve. None at all..]

That's good. Glad she could spend some time with her sister. They need that.

You've been spending a lot of time with Steve lately. I'm glad you got a friend you can hang out with.

A vague shrug as he goes to unpack the bags he had brought. Plenty of food from the merchant dome along with books and writing material for Mick while he's resting. "He's not terrible to be around."

[Mick peers over at the goods Leonard brought]

What all did you bring me?

"Backup food for you three to keep your ass out of the kitchen," he answers over his shoulder.

"I found some writing journals too, good pens and wonder of wonders, a functioning typewriter."

“Wow Lenny. That’s awesome. I really appreciate it. Bucky been cooking cause so that’s appreciated.” Mick says happily

“A typewriter. Really. Thanks Lenny. Really.” He’s missed his typewriter.

And it's a telling sign how wiped out Mick is that he doesn't recognize the signs that Something Is Up with Leonard. He doesn't often come bearing gifts.

But Mick has been ill, missing his daughter and Leonard.. has something he needs to tell him. He doesn't want Mick to find out from someone else.

.. someone else like Barnes.

"I'm going to tell you something and if you say I told you so I will kick your ass, I don't care how sick you've been."

"Steve and I are.." he laces his fingers together and looks down at them. "We're seeing where things go."

Mick was just holding his daughter, letting her play with his hands while Len put the food in the fridge and set the other things on the table. His eyes move to his partner, watching him essentially fidget by Leonard standards. He's about ready to ask him what's wrong when the other starts talking.

Mick nods at the warning. He's not sure where this is going....okay yup..he wasn't thinking that at all. Still he can't keep the smile of joy off his face when Len says what he says.

"I'm happy for you, Lenny. Truly. He's a good man."
