[She may be a little more than clingy after the episode on Erebus. But it's all right since Leonard had been a little more than clingy as well.]

[The mission shook them both up, but they came out of it safe and in the end that's what matters. Leonard may have been a tad snappish to others as Nora was being brought on board but he didn't care. The Waverider held just as many bad memories as good and he couldn't let it hold one more bad one.

It was either a fluke of the system or someone was deliberately changing things up.

Leonard is idly tapping a finger on the table as he considers it. Looking at that name on his TC as if it held some deep and meaningful answer for him. But even that distraction isn't enough to make him unaware of his surroundings and Nora is greeted with that small smile that is only hers and a kiss on the cheek.]

[She notices that he's tapping his fingers on the table, a sign that something is definitely in the works in his mind, but doesn't ask about it right away. Nora kisses him and takes a seat]

Did you already order?

Not yet. [Those tapping fingers are stilled as he reaches across to squeeze her hand.] There was something I wanted to talk to you about first.

[He's only been thinking about this since the moment she woke up on the Waverider. But getting the words out takes a moment longer.]

I've never known anyone like you. It's also safe to say that I've never had what you could call a stable relationship. Not like this. [Mick doesn't count. That's a wholly different partnership.]

I don't like waking up without you. I don't like having to choose whose place to go back to at night.

[There are no real words to define how fundamentally he trusts Nora Allen. With his heart, with his life, with everything that he is. But for most of his formative years, love was associated with pain and fear, so every time he puts himself out there, he can't stop the irrational spike of worry that crawls up his spine.]

I want to buy a house, and I want to share it with you.

[Watch as she's stunned into silence. Nora watches him, trying to pick up on any tick that he's joking or pulling her leg.]

Really?

[Because she needs to hear it. Nora doesn't give him a chance to affirm it when she pulls him in for a kiss]

[He doesn't get a chance to confirm before her hands are twisting in his shirt, pulling him in for a kiss. When it breaks a faint smirk curls his lips.] So that's a yes.

[He still has about three months before he can purchase a plot of land, but that will also give them time to plan and perhaps build from scratch. Something perfect.]

[She laughs and lets him go a little, kissing him again, softer this time]

That's definitely a yes. I can't--

[She laughs again, holding onto his hand]

[And the things he would do for that warm smile, for the easy way she holds his hand.] I still have a few months before I can buy an acre of land, but that should give us time to find a yurt for two while we design the place?

We only really need one room, don't we?

[She kisses him again]

...I'll need to tell Barry.

Well of course.

[He leans into the kiss before sitting back a bit.] Not to mention the rest of your speedster brood.

[Pause.
Because a selfish part of him doesn't want to see it corrected, but he still owes her that choice, never mind the fact that he's sure at least one Barry Allen has walked into a wall over it.]

You may want to correct your name on the TC before you do though.
No sense in giving Barry a heart attack.

[She really needs to talk to her son about running into solid objects. That may be a bad idea, considering the speeds he runs at.]

My name? Why? What's wrong with it?

[Don't deprive Leonard of one of his sources of amusement, Nora. He'll have to resort to stealing Cisco's wallet in addition to Barry's.]

Someone has renamed you.. Nora Snart.

[Color her surprised as she soaks that in and processes it]

I...oh. Really?

Could simply be a glitch in the system. [It could also be anyone on Team Flash having a little fun. Really, he wouldn't put it past them.]

Could be.

[It's a little fast for her. She doesn't think she's ready for marriage so quickly. But she does love Leonard and kisses him again]

We could just stay at the other's place. One of our places until we've got enough to get our own land, right?

[It's far too fast for Leonard to even consider something like that. As much as he loves and cherishes Nora, a part of him wonders when she'll come to her senses, when she'll realize she is with a criminal, a killer, a man her son once hated.

But he's also selfish enough to stay because of the way she smiles at him, because of the way she looks at him. Like he might just be good enough.] One is certainly enough for both of us.

Leonard.

[She touches his cheek and kisses him again]

You look like you've got a lot on your mind.

[He tips into the touch for a moment, leaning in to her and accepting that kiss with a quiet smile.] Thinking about the future, that's all. I never thought I would have a future like this with someone like you.

Second chances here, Leonard.

[For people like them, a chance to live again.]
