And I thought back home was getting weird.

How have you been settling in?

I learned quite a lot about my own future and my son's future since coming here.

[She shakes her head.]

Me, I've got people telling me about a past I'm not convinced they're being honest about.

Two of? How many do you have here?

I have one back home. He's about to turn five. But here, he's...nearly 30? And there's two...three of them.

[ Good lord. Was her son the subject of some weird pharmaceutical cloning conspiracy? ]

I've got a woman here who claims to not only be my mother, but her mother is Snow White.

Like the fairytale?

Like the fairy tale. And you know. The book I wrote about a woman who is the daughter of Snow White.

How did you end up with three of the same son?

One is from my future...his future. Another is from a different kind of future? And the third is...also from a different kind of future. Sounds just as weird as your book coming to life.

This place is so strange.

This is all going to make no sense when I go home. I wonder how many people just end up staying here.

Quite a few of the people I've met do seem to have been here more than a couple of years.

Years?! No one has sent out search parties from back home?

Maybe they visit home and explain why they're staying?

Wouldn't that bring more people here? What if they're...about to meet their end? This would be a way for them to live.

Would that be so bad?

What about their lives back home? I can't exactly bring my house or husband or friends here.

Why can't you?

I think the housing commission would notice a whole house missing, Henry.

I meant your family.

Joe, a friend of mine who's a cop, but notice when my whole family has since disappeared.

Our friends, Henry's colleagues?
