Meg, it's Emily. Tony is in the clinic because of gas exposure, so I'm checking to make sure you're not there, too. If you aren't, let me know where you are so I can come to you. Okay?
While the Ghost Moon is on, I'll be working from my house rather than the labs. I still expect you one afternoon over the next few days to come familiarize yourself with the home lab.
You will also have to meet Wendy and Greene, the former being why I'm working from home.
I have my goddaughter with me during the Ghost Moon, and she needs me more than the labs do for the few days. So no, it's not an emergency, but it's still very important.
You'll just see the home lab earlier than I originally intended, but I'm sure you'll be able to keep the protocols for each straight.
Lovely girl, we need to go shopping for furniture for your new room. Our house won't be done for another month and a half, but I think it'd be fun if you could decorate your room yourself and really make it yours. What do you think? After school on Monday, we can go and make a girls day of it.
Anyone who could get sick of you obviously didn't take the time to get to know you. Dear girl, I think you're wonderful and I hope my future daughter is as smart and as kind and as amazing as you are.
Just say you'll join me for a girls day out. Wherever you want to eat, wherever you want to shop. Wherever you want to look at furniture. It's your day.
[ The box has the Bad Apple logo on it, a sign that it's from Evie's store. And the note attached is sealed in red and blue wax, an elegant E pressed into the seal. Inside the box, Meg will find a special made lab-coat in her size, in her favorite colors, with her name embroidered on the front right pocket. And the note says, quite simply; ]
Meg,
You are a delight to work with, and absolutely brilliant. Hopefully the next time we work together, it won't be during a town crisis. Maybe during something silly like making edible bubbles in various flavors. Ones that actually taste good. I tried some the other day from one of the stores? No, thank you. It was gross.
Anyway, I hope this fits. I didn't want to clue you in that I was making this for you, so I couldn't just get measurements. It was all guesswork.
