My old man was long gone by the time I was born. I don't want to be like he was. I'm learning about kids from a friend and.. I want to be a part of the kid's life.

My birth parents adopted me out to people who knew nothing about mutant powers. They were great parents, but I figure it they'd known it would've been...better for everyone? And yeah, I want to be part of it too. So...shared custody, somehow?

Shared custody. [He likes that idea.] You should bring Groot over sometime, check out the farm. I can talk to Steve about setting up a nursery for when the baby stays here. [Because he isn't going to assume that the baby would stay at any one place by default.]

I can do that, sure. [ Probably a good idea, anyway. He has a feeling Groot may be a hard sell on a baby. ] I'll have to set one up as well, I figure.

Maybe we can set them up together? I mean seeing as we're both soon to be parents? [It can't hurt for them to get to know each other in the process.] You can get to know Steve too, maybe I can meet Groot in the process.

I think that's a good idea. Establish some kind of stability or something, right?

Yeah. Can't hurt to start now. [If they're going to raise a child they may as well make the two homes stable as possible and turn this into some kind of weirdly blended family.]

Um. You're not allergic to goats or sheep or anything are you? We're raising them out at the farm.

No, no I don't think so. You have any allergies I should know about?

[Weird seems to be the MO for anything in New Dodge really. But Bucky is learning to roll with it as best he can.]

Nope. Serum pretty much makes me immune to allergies or anything like that. Fast healer, accelerated metabolism and enhanced reflexes.
