Yeah, Rory helped me get everything set up at the farm.

One of each works for me, back in the day we didn't know ahead of time so I'm good with being surprised. I can come over and bring dinner? Rory's been stress cooking at the casino so I can raid his kitchen for damn near anything you and Groot might want.

Can do. You or the little guy got any requests? Rory's got the coolers full near to busting with food.

I think we're both pretty good with eating just about anything, honestly.

Got it, on my way in about twenty minutes.

[And when Bucky shows up it is with quite the spread thanks to Mick's efforts in the kitchen. Roasted meats and vegetables, fresh bread and even half a slab of chocolate cake. He has to knock on the door with his foot, figuring David or Groot can help with that.

The food will go into the kitchen and the cake into the refrigerator, much to Groot's disappointment.]

[David'll let him in, and then help him put food away in the kitchen. Oh, he sees you eyeing that cake, Groot.]

You weren't kidding about all the food...

I spent a couple hours last night dropping off food deliveries just so people would eat it in time. Don't think he's going to mind if I make another dent in the stores.

[And he'll wait for the food to be laid out and for them to start eating before it's time to talk. About their kid. Christ his life is so weird.] So, I got a nursery at the farm, figure I can help build whatever you need here too. [Or drag Rory in to help since he offered.] That'll handle the big stuff, at least for now.

[Life is so weird, but at least he's gotten used to it. Thanks to back home, anyway.]

That sounds like a plan. I've bought a lot of the stuff for a nursery, it's just the putting it together that needs to happen.

Hey I can help you put stuff together after we eat, or shanghai Rory into helping tomorrow so we're set. [He considers a long moment] What do you think about Grace if we get us a little girl?

Works for me. [ He thinks about the name for a moment. ] I like it. Grace Haller-Barnes?

[Baby Grace. Wow. He likes the sound of that a lot.] Yeah, that sounds perfect. Any thoughts if she turns out to be a he?

[David has to think about that. And weirdly, only one name pops into his head.]

Charles?

[Oh, David. You sentimental dork, you've never even met your dad. Yet.]

Charles. That's a good name. I knew a guy named Charlie back in Brooklyn a long time ago. So Charlie or Grace, I like it.

I think they work well. Complementary type names, and all that.

[A snort as he tips back his drink.] Least we aren't getting twins like Cisco and his fella got.

Thankfully, I don't think twins run in my family. I expect I would've heard about it from that Magneto guy last time he was here if they did. Chatty fellow.
