[When Nick looks at her he sees Wanda. Sweet, fierce and terribly vulnerable at the same time. He wants to offer her that shelter, to feel her curled up in his arms and know that she feels safe with him.]

I'm not planning on going anywhere.
I just found you Wanda. I'm not going to lose you now.

[She has the power to fall a vibranium and infinity stone powered being. If she wanted to, she could change the universe.]

You won't lose me. But will I lose you in these prophecies?

[There's a quick and decisive shake of his head. Nick makes a downward slashing motion with his hand for emphasis.]

No.
After everything that I've gone through to get here, to find you, nothing is going to take me away from you.
Nothing.

[She never admitted that the pamphlets concerned her, scared her. Especially when it became apparent that they were about him. She holds onto his hand, just holding onto the safety that he provides.]

It's strange to think that this place, so far away from the place I grew up, has become such a home to me. That I would meet people that aren't afraid of me.

I could never be afraid of you. Yes, you have fantastic abilities, but so does Savitar and I'm not afraid of him either. He's a good man.

[Savitar. Someone else who understands what it means to have powers that people fear. She has found herself growing close to him in the weeks since she'd arrived.]

You seem to have your own abilities, Nick, to calm me down. And yes, he is. I think...I think he also is like me. Scared. But... he hides his fear in his work.

[Is he blushing at that? A little.
A breathless sound that's almost laughter as he shakes his head fondly.] Then maybe we can show him that he doesn't have to be afraid.

That he doesn't need to be by himself all the time. He's in the labs. All the time, it seems.

He shouldn't be. [Not alone. A nod.]
Maybe we can help him with that.

[She looks at him, unsure as to what she should say. This between the two of them had been so new and now?]

You have been spending a lot of time with him?

[Nick moves his hand in a seesaw sort of gesture.] Not a lot of time, I'll see him here and there and he always stops to at least say hi.

I have raced him. He is faster but...he seems to be able to at least smile whenever we are done. It's his eyes, Nick. He doesn't say much of anything but I don't need to look into his mind to see it.

[Of course they've raced, and Nick is absolutely going to be there the next time that they do.

He also has a pretty good idea what she sees but he asks all the same.] What do you see?

He's...sad. Lonely.

[She holds onto Nick, feeling comfort in his warmth and presence]

I know how he feels. I've felt it before. Right before I came here.

He is. I've seen it too. [There's a long pause as he considers.]

Why don't we invite him to dinner? Nothing fancy, but we can at least show him that he doesn't have to be lonely?

The Saloon? It seems casual enough and I think it's close enough to the labs that he could return to his work quickly if he wants to.

[She sincerely hopes he wouldn't. That he would just enjoy the time with both of them. And not feel that loneliness.]

[Nick continues to stand close to Wanda as he types out the invite, smiling up at her when he accepts. Good.] He'll meet us there.

[An invitation to dinner. She knows how it could look. But they are both simply concerned for their friend, right? Someone that had accepted them and were not afraid of them. Wanda leans close and kisses Nick softly.]

You're such a good man, Nick.
