[ The first thing on screen? A bit of graffiti that may be familiar to Mal. It's on the meat skewer vendors stall, so it's relatively fine since Anne did say she'd help. But, Evie looks pretty annoyed when her TC is facing her. Jack is somewhere in the background. What he’s doing is anyone guess, but it's interrupted by the tone on Evies voice. The Newsie goes a bit pale and wide-eyed, looking at his girlfriend with concern before just easing out of view. ]

Mal! I left you alone for less than an hour.

You're right. I'm sorry.

[The look of contrition lasts all of seven seconds before she tips her head with a thoughtful little pout.]

I should have used more blue...

A little more blue? Mal, are you kidding?

[ if she had any interest in alcohol, she would be knocking over a liquor store right now. ]

Oh, y'know. Around...I'm not hard to find.

[She saw a stupid t-shirt in the merchant dome with an anthropomorphic coffee cup saying The Floor Is Java on it, and now she's in deep emotional pain. She is, very much on purpose, making herself incredibly hard to find.]

Mal...I'm sorry for what you're going through. Anne said he'd be back. So just trust her, okay? Meet me at the apartment, okay?

[ This isn't a date with Jack. They just ran into each other in the merchant some during Evies break. So it's not like Mal is interrupting anything. ]

Mr Stark needs a Dino Minder while he works on a project. He says his dino's know Clever Girl so they'll get along.

I can do it. Girlie's getting restless, she could use the play time.

And he’s helping me create something to help remove the graffiti. So bring clever Girl by and we’ll work on that while you play Dino mom.

You have fun with that. I won't be helping to use your fun new invention on the meat stall.

Mal, if Peter comes back and sees it...

[ Mal has probably seen Evie without make up a grand total of once and back then, it was a horrifying moment for Evie. She was still superficial and pretending to be vapid, so there had probably been screaming and panic from the blueberry princess. But today, the picture Mal gets is of one Evie ~~Grimhilde~~ Queen, standing in front of a full length mirror in the SHIELD house. Head tilted sideways so the hair tied back in a simple braid falls over her holiest, she’s without make up and in a blue T-shirt, basic jeans, and a lab coat. The only clue that this really is Evie is her purse sits nearby and her boots are her usual spiked out pair. ]

I feel so weird right now. I did this for Sam when I was helping him but every time I get a look at my reflection, it’s a bit jarring.

evie, stfu. you look not. i hope you sent it to isle boy, i bet he'll love it.

he asked for a print out so he can frame it.

When I get out of here, what do you want to do?

You know how we've wondered a time or two what it'd be like if our parents weren't evil? And were trying hard to not be that way?

Regina Mills is my mother from another universe. You should meet her. It'd answer that question.

So, solar flares around here cause surprise pregnancies and other weirdness, huh?

New Dodge keeps getting weirder and weirder. I've been here over a year and I'm still very surprised sometimes.

Every once in a while I miss the days when Shrimpy and Harry were our biggest problems. And when I wasn't sure if I'd aced a chemistry test or not. Those were fun days.
