Dying. I hadn't even known that Scott went through that. Scott fluxing out and going back home. Thomas not keeping his promise even though I know deep down he always will. My aunt. What's possibly happening to my dad back home. I can't even go see him. I can watch him from a distance, but... I can't see him.

...I'm sorry. Why can't you go see your dad though?

Because in my world... if I were to go back, it'd be to a war. One where I die. Where Scott and everyone there loses me.

So do you plan on staying here?

I've already stayed here past that certain time and renewed the contract. I can't go back. I won't put anyone there through that heartbreak. I won't be that martyr. Besides... if I went back now my dad might...

My family is a family of hunters, Glimmer. Normally if one of us is going to turn or about to turn we're meant to take our own life. Because we're hunters. Not the very thing that we hunt. I know I changed the Code before I got here, but I don't know how he'd take to me being a werewolf.

If he's like you, I don't think he'd hurt you. Everyone I've met from your world, they're different than what I'm used to. My parents...I can see them putting me down if they felt it was needed.

I think yours might be different though.

My mother was vicious, Glimmer. She loved me but she was a vicious woman. And my dad... he's lost too much. I'm not sure he'd be the same man. Maybe some day I'll have to take you to my world or a version of it, so you can at least see him. Pretty sure he's not too happy. Last time I was there, I stole his jacket.

We used to have the Code Nous chassons ceux qui nous chassent. We hunt those who hunt us. However, I changed it.

Nous protégeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se protéger. Which is we protect those who cannot protect themselves. I figured it was time that the Argent's had a new Code to live by.

If you're so sure he'd stick by the code, then why do you think he'd hurt you?

Because I was the only thing my dad had. If he doesn't have me then he'd probably find other Hunters to stick with. And their Code might take him back some.

I wouldn't let him hurt you...you shouldn't have to hide if we go to your home.

Glimmer, for him... I'm dead. So I can't let him see me.
