So what do you think about having a masquerade ball for the end of summer?

You've been reading a lot of fairy tales, haven't you?

I don't know. It could be fun.

Grandma's a librarian. Dads are romantics. I grew up with them but haven't really read them in a long time.

I've been to a few.

A few? Did they happen a lot more once upon a time?

Well, yeah. Masquerades and balls are pretty much staples in The Enchanted Forest.

There's a real enchanted forest?

There's a real lots of places. Oz, for instance.

Oz?!

Maybe we can recreate one of those masquerades with things from the merchant dome?

Yeah, but I don't recommend a visit.

I'm sure we could do that, yeah. Jefferson can probably make something too.

What does Jefferson make? Masks? Maybe we could get some food from the merchant dome too. And some drinks. And people could dress up--

He makes hats. You know. 'Mad Hatter'? But I think he makes other things too.

We could do all of that, yeah. Where? The park?

The new one! It has a gazebo!

If he makes other things, maybe he could make masks so people can just show up and grab a mask off the table!

If not, I'm sure someone in the merchant dome can.

And it could be a fancy dress one. There's so many shops with these beautiful gowns and suits!
