Kanima, but yeah that's me. Similar shifting abilities, but instead of turning into a wolf I get a prehensile tail, paralytic venom and an immunity to bullets. Pretty handy.

She's cold-blooded. And desperate. She wasn't supposed to be the one to find someone to give her an heir, her cousin was meant for that and then he was killed. Probably by the Black Door. She's getting older and she knows it. So: desperate. She's very business oriented which has done well to increase the haus' wealth but not much to make her friends.

It's likely the Black Door has tried to trick her into choosing a candidate of their choosing.

I'm a mercenary. I've obviously killed people. The only thing she cared about in regards to me is that I'm not 100% human. So if you have anything like that, like murder or violence or anything in your background don't bother hiding it. She won't care. I think she said something like 'sometimes people die'.

A lack of honesty on the part of other candidates. Lack of intelligence on their parts. An inability to fulfil some part of the contract she's set for them.

Wonderful! The Grand Opening is the day before the start of the Assembly. The soft opening is two days before that. Short notice, I understand, but if you could be available at the start of the soft opening while the talent settles in, I would be most appreciative.

If it's amenable to you, salary for the event will be 3 silver a day as we're only just opening. As I know that is woefully low for the services rendered, we can negotiate a more appropriate compensation once the Assembly is over and there are profits on the books. We can also discuss a bonus to make up for the underpayment after accounts have been settled.
