"Believe it or not it was the other way around." Mick says rubbing the back of his neck. "He says I spend too much time there. As if he's one to talk." He gets it though. Len wants him to spend time with his family while he can. And part of that just eats Mick up because he sees Len drowning himself in work as an escape.

"Barry's mom is...was...his wife. He sees me and Diana...Lisa and Jefferson and it just reminds him of what he lost. For the first time in my life I can't do anything to help him. I just...I got so blessed and I know I could loose it. You lost Steve, he lost Nora....it just ain't fair. You shouldn't have to be alone like that."

Mick offers Bucky a warm smile. "I'm glad we help. I care about ya a lot Buck. You're as important to me as Lisa and Lenny and Diana and I'm glad you're here. Glad I know ya." He says.

"Come on, lets get you a drink and me that milk so I can get back to preparing for dinner."

Mick takes the carrier of milk and sets it on the table before accepting the glass of lemonade. Max has flopped down at his feet, eyes on Helen and Mick has to smile. Maybe they should get a dog too.

Mick smiles as Bucky talks to Helen. He loves that this man loves his daughter as much as his own because Mick feels the same way about Grace.

"Not yet, but she has managed to roll over onto her back. Hasn't managed to roll back over yet though."

Mick chuckles softly. "Yeah, I try not to think about that part. I just wanna enjoy her right now...don't wanna miss anything." He says. "I met Lisa when she was five, watched her grow up. Sometimes I look at her and I still see that fearless five year old I helped raise."
