[And Bucky is happy to get showered up and dressed before leaving Max in Steve's care for the night. He's missed Mick and Diana so much. He even stops off at Game of Thorns for flowers.]

Hey babe. Come on in. [Mick is in the kitchen naturally.]

Smells amazing. [Bucky sets the flowers in a vase and wanders into the kitchen to kiss him soundly. He's missed being closer to home but Steve has needed him so he's been trying to divide his time and it's been a little tiring.

Tonight he can rest with the two people he loves most in the world.] Di in the shower?

[Mick is pulling him into that kiss like he's starving for it before he releases him and smiles warmly.] Yeah, she'll be out in a bit. The boys are out doing their thing and Helen is already down for the night.

Lenny said he's meeting Steve for dinner around 8. So he couldn't take her.

He is? [Bucky's eyebrows loft in surprise at that. He snorts and steals a bite from the counter before moving back so Mick can finish his work.] I didn't know. That's.. that's good. For both of them.

I didn't either. Len was....not acting himself today at work. I gathered some of what was going on and practically cornered him before throwing him out of the kitchen. [Mick chuckles and rolls his eyes affectionately before he starts making a salad to go with dinner]

I just want 'em happy. Whether it's together or not I don't much care, I just hate seein' 'em mope around.

Yeah. [Bucky scratches his chin and goes for a drink before leaning his hip on the counter and watching Mick work.] Me too. Steve's been beating himself up about this for so long. I think Snart even talking to him helped.

Sounds about right. Len don't let much show ever, but what happened between him and Steve shook him to his core. I haven't seen that look in his eyes since we was kids.

Yeah. I know.
I don't think I've ever seen Steve so tore up about what happened.

But maybe this means they're gonna try and figure things out. I hope so. Stevie was never so happy as he was with Snart.

[Mick hums thoughtfully and sets the salad bowl on the table before walking back over to Bucky and giving him a firm and loving embrace. He doesn't need to say anything because sometimes gestures speak louder than words. This is likely how Diana might find them when she's finished cleaning up.]

[It is a sight Diana has missed. She slips from the bathroom on silent feet, moving to rest her hands lightly on both men's shoulders as they embrace. Her lips skim across both with a warm smile. Now they feel complete. Whole.]
