I have stayed out of the rain so I have not been to the farm. When you have time, could you let me know the state of it? Were the animals injured? How are the planting fields? Is there anything you need or I can do?

They're fine. I pulled their water supply once I saw the greens start to go brown. I'm running water from the cabin to keep them healthy.

[And now the bad news.] I lost more than half of what was planted and I don't expect the rest to survive. I can't water that much from the house and last I checked we don't have anyone who can control weather enough to make it rain clean water.

I am relieved to know the animals are fine.

My own abilities cannot help the diseased plants, but I will be there to help whatever I can grow once the fields are replanted.

I am so sorry this happened. You have been working so hard and to see this happen? It is a shame.

Good thing we're only growing supplemental food here or we'd all be looking at a pretty lean fall.
