Stevie? It's two in the morning. [He scrubs at his face to pull himself awake.] I thought you were on vacation with Snart?

I’m sorry. We just got back. I just. Bucky. I’m coming to the cabin. (He’s so excited he can barely handle it)

You're really lucky Mick and Di aren't over. [A fond tease as he pulls himself up and out of bed.] Want me to make coffee?

You don’t have too. I won’t stay long. Promise. [hes there in less than five minutes having already been on the way. He’s all smiles and jittery energy as he holding his hand out and practically shoved the ring in Buckys face]

[He snorts and gets the coffee ready anyway because there's no going back to sleep. Whatever Steve has to say is important and he won't be able to sleep afterwards. The coffee isn't even done when Steve all but bounds into the cabin and he can already tell that it's good news.

He grunts at the hand in his face, catching his wrist and bringing his hand down where he can get a better look at the ring. A fond smile as a vibranium thumb runs across the ring.] Well it's about damn time.

He asked me while we were on vacation. I gave him that Menorah and then he gave me the ring.

I honestly never thought it would happen...and it did. He wants to marry me Bucky. Will you be my best man?

[He couldn't be happier for his best friend, the joy on his face and the light in his eyes. Bucky tugs him towards the kitchen to get that coffee and start on some breakfast. They might as well celebrate.] Course he wants to marry you. You're a hell of a catch.

Yeah Stevie. Yeah of course I'll stand up there with you.

[Steve sits at the table. He can tell the news is a bit bittersweet for his best friend. After all, Bucky had been married to a version of himself here for a while before losing him....still, he's glad he's supportive]

[It's a bit of a mind fuck, sitting in the cabin and talking to Steve about his engagement to another man.

Still. He's learned to adapt to a hell of a lot of weird in his life and it's something special to see his best friend so happy. There had been a time when he had been sick during a brutal winter that Buck wasn't even sure he'd survive it and here they are almost a hundred years later.]

I'm guessing you two are going to do something small? Your fella's an over the top guy but I'm betting not about this.

Yeah, something small and intimate I think. Not sure where. Maybe the Casino? We want to do it soon though, at least...I'd like too. I don't want anything elaborate and I doubt he does too.
