[The actual cost of the bill was negligible. Laughable really. But to keep up the appearance of an aggrieved and outraged businessman feeling snubbed by a Haus, he was going to do it. Also he rather liked the idea of effectively charging the Black Door for the privilege of killing their 'third' of the council.]

I know I am a new voice in the galaxy, but there are certain niceties that should be observed and your Third of Council has shown no small disrespect for such.
