[Steve arrives at 7 sharp and heads into the saloon and up to the bar, eyes scanning for Logan.]

[Logan is at the bar, beer at his elbow as he takes in the people. A grin as he spies a familiar tall figure making his way over.]

Damn, you didn't age a day, did you?

[Steve blushes as he takes a seat on a stool beside Logan.]

To be fair I was frozen in the Atlantic Ocean for 70 years. You look good too.

Seventy years? Jesus. [A roll of his shoulder because neither one of them had a great run after the war, did they? And he's not here to talk about the bad times.] Mutant genes I guess. I never really thought about it for a long time.

So how's life treating you here?

Yeah. Crazy. Crashed a plan in 1942, woke up in 2012 to Aliens trying to invade New York. It was nuts.

[He gives a rueful chuckle and nods to the bartender for a beer]

Eh, fair enough I suppose. If you'd asked me a month a go I'd have said great but...well...I guess it could always be worse.

How are you settling in?

Could pretty much say the same.[For a time there had been the promise of something sweet and wonderful. But even without that now, he's not thinking about going home yet.

Then something Steve said sinks in and he turns to him.]

Aliens?

Not sure how much you guys were aware of. We were dealing with a demigod from another planet. He tried to summon an alien army through some kind of wormhole thing....didn't end too well for him.

Battle of Brooklyn wasn't it? [He still has moments where his memory is hazy but flying monsters are kind of hard to forget.] Yeah we.. we kinda had our hands full that year too.

Yeah. We managed to contain most of the damage...still...it wasn't great.

What were you up too? [He asks good naturedly, if Logan brushes it off though he won't press. He knows when to leave things alone...most of the time.
