I’m looking for some nicer clothes, rather than staples.

We don’t know if the baby’s a girl or a boy, don’t care really, and I figured you could handle something.

I’d like a nice bunting bag for a newborn, and three outfits, 1 for a newborn, and the other two a bit larger. The rest will be everyday wear.

Does that sound about right? I’ve never had to consider the amount of clothes a baby needs.

You may want more everyday outfits.

I meant I’ll get the rest in town. A dozen or so outfits as a newborn, or a bit larger. As long as everything’s all right he or she will grow too quickly to have too much of a wardrobe for the first year that a nappie and vest won’t do for around the house.

Your outfits are more special events, thought I guess I should order a few more, in larger sizes.

The baby’s not due for another few weeks, so a couple of weeks. When the baby’s born, I’ll order some more as they grow.

That will be brilliant, thank you. Oh, I should say I’d definitely like hats and booties to match. The former I’m very excited to see. Really, I’ll be thrilled with whatever you come up with.
