[ She can hear him coming down the hall, and while it's still stupidly loud to her? She's pretty happy to hear him. When her clinic door opens, she shoots him a big but brief grin.

Whatever medication they have her on is helping things not hurt so much. The only downside is, her spider metabolism works through it quickly. She should be okay for now. ]
