My name is Steve Rogers and a friend of mine told me that you're enhanced. Fairly indestructible was the term he actually used. I'm wondering if perhaps maybe you'd be willing to train/spar with me? There's very few people in town I can fight with and not risk harming.

Is that something you'd be interested in?

No he's not mistaken.
I spoke to him shortly after I arrived. I guess I was somehow here before and that's how we met. [He's still trying to get his head around that one. It's weird.]

I regularly spar with Thor. Just in case that eases some of your immediate concerns. If you've done anything with him.

This is an outdoor arena. It was built with super soldiers and other exceptionally strong beings in mind. I've used it a few times with Thor and Diana.

[In two hours Steve will be at the arena in his uniform sans helmet though. He doesn't think he'll need it and the rest of it is just mostly for comfort. He typically wears it when he trains with Thor and he imagines training with Clark would be similar]

[Clark is waiting for him, dressed for a fight, cape pooling at his feet as he takes in the arena and the rather impressive reinforcements.

He's never formally trained, handling himself in battle has been instinct, drive. A remnant of his genetics, or even the Codex itself in his cells, he can't be sure.

Clark raises a hand in greeting as Steve arrives.]

Clark, I've spoken with the council and this is likely what would happen should 'Kira' turn himself in: 4 weeks imprisonment followed by 4-6 weeks planetary confinement, a hopper ban for same, counseling and monitoring. That is, of course, based on the crimes committed here.

By imprisonment, are we speaking in terms of house arrest? I haven't seen a formal jail in New Dodge.

Yes, he'd have to be confined to his home.

I'll admit most of what I've learned about Black Door and the bad blood between them and Be Dodge I've only read on the network. Is there anything else I should be aware of?

From his conversation with someone here in town, we know that he seems to think Black Door will be sending an assassin after him. And we know that this was apparently not his plan.

The assassin? I would hope not.

I'll do my best and I'll keep it out of the paper. [Because he's pretty sure this requires discretion.]
