...ohhh, riiight. I know it's hard to keep up, but don't worry, you won't be the only one.

[He smiles at her, somehow at once sincerely sympathetic and totally smug, and casually adjusts his bow-tie (which to be honest is probably the most smug bow-tie adjustment she has ever seen). He seems to be under the impression (or has just chosen the interpretation) that she's worried he'll outshine her.]

Besides, we get crowns, if you hadn't heard, so you'll have the chance to dress up a bit.
