[She's a little taken aback that an apology for a misunderstanding resulted in riling Glimmer up further.
So she sticks to the facts. Jemma doesn't have access at the medical files, other than those known to be infected, either by flare or parasite (or random pregnancies).]
I don't dig into the past of New Dodge citizens, unless there's cause, and I have extremely limited access to the medical files. If I had access, you would have been informed.
[Glimmer, bluntly, hasn't even glimmered on Jemma's radar.]
Sadly, the only two absolutes are vampirism and previous infection; those like Adam, or me, because I was affected by the flare. There's some resistance if pregnant, but it's not a guarantee.
And if you'd been infected, we would have been removing something, not adding something to you. The parasites either transfer hosts of kill them, and that was a risk we didn't want to take with anyone in town.
[Jemma was hardly the only on involved with the decision as to how to deal with it, but she's the public face, and thus is trying to explain.
Yet all of these are possibilities that didn't happen, and the reality is where Jemma would like to stay focused.]
And Silas is right. He wouldn't let anything happen to you that wouldn't help. You weren't infected, and no one was being malicious towards you.
[See, it's all fine. Jemma's still going to think Glimmer needs some serious help, but that's for another time.]
