Question.

I may have an answer. And I have a question for you, but you go first.

Wouldn't it be funny if it's the same question?

After the new year, what would you think about getting married at some point?

[ Has George ever in the multiverse asked anyone to marry him in a normal sort of way? Not really. ]

[ Charlie wouldn't want a normal proposal, anyway, so this is beautiful and perfect and amazingly timed for her. ]

I'd say that's an absolutely wonderful idea and I'm excited.

What do you think of our son?

I think he's great. A little obsessive about cars, but he has that in common with my brothers.

[ Charlie's sure George can figure out what she means by that, but for the hell of it, she sends him the official doctors test confirming that yes, there will be a baby McGee-O'Malley. It certainly coincides with Bailey's birthday. ]

...though, we'll have to put off visiting my parents until August. Obviously.

Your parents will kill us, so we'll have to keep them updated about everything going on more often than we already do.
