I have off after school tomorrow and scheduled an appointment at Ambrosia to get my hair done. It's going back to it's natural black until I see fit to dye it again. For now, I want a change.

Oh my--that's so expensive, though! Are you sure you don't want to do it at home? I can help: my baby sister, CJ, loves to streak her hair. I'm very good with a little baking soda and a lot of elbow grease.

It is but I've been saving and I have a lot of my stipend left. Not to mention money I made on dress sales back home. It'll be fine.

Now stop that. There are shoes to be bought with that money, or other fun things--and what about your next dye job? That part, you do save your money for.

Besides, it'll save you going home with a wet head when the fuse blows.

I'm going to the merchant dome this afternoon to look for dye that will match your color. You can reimburse me for the color if you want, but you cancel that appointment and come to my yurt instead. We'll do your hair, and I'll throw in a pedicure--I found this delicious sugar scrub the other day that will make you think you've died and gone to Heaven, promise.
