[Harry's words to him were a little more along the lines of 'making friends or getting laid' but sure. He can roll with it. Not like he's really looking for a relationship.] Right, the board. Interesting concept but I suppose it beats going to a mixer.

You'd meet more people at a mixer. All at once instead of being matched by an algorithm.

[As entertaining as it might be to have a drink with Nora in a saloon that Barry(s) no doubt frequent, Leonard shakes his head.] How about you come over to the casino? Only a few of the gaming tables are open at the moment so it's a bit quieter.

[She knows that New Dodge is definitely a settlement but has yet to familiarize herself with too much of her surroundings.]

[He pokes at his new TC.] There. Directions should show up on your TC but I can always meet you along the way if you'd like.

I think a walk might actually be good for me to try and clear my head. Is anytime all right?

Sure. It doesn't seem too far off from here.

[She hangs up and makes her way back to C&P. There was no way she was going to stay cooped up in her own home for her brief time here.]

[And when she makes her way there, she'll find a smartly dressed man leaning easily against the wall. Leonard pushes off, moving in her direction. He gestures at the gun on his thigh.] Nothing personal, but given the influx of ghosts lately, better to be safe than sorry.

Now. [He even offers her his arm.] About that drink?

[Her eyes widen when she sees the gun. Nora hesitates for a moment before cautiously taking his arm]

Guns can stop ghosts here?

Merely a precaution. [A reassurance as he waits for her to take in the gun.] This one can at least drive them back, make them reconsider coming after you.

Can't be too careful given what's going on.

And what exactly is going on?

[She wonders if she should take up a self defense class while she's here.]

Another dome was found - a haunted one. The ghosts have been slipping through the network for anyone who happens to just click randomly on files they don't recognize.

Not to worry. With Barry on the case I'm sure it'll be handled quickly enough.

I wonder why Barry seemed so shocked when he first saw me.

[Yes, she knows, she's dead already in the future.]

You might say we know one another from back home. Central City, born and raised just like him.

Our Central City or that other Barry's Central City?

[old_school]

You mean the one people call 'adorable Barry'? No, he's not from my Central. I'm more than a little sure that you and I would have called the same place home.

[She lets out a small sigh of relief]

Though I've heard the other Central City is a lot worse. Almost Bludhaven or even like Gotham.

Gotham is a meat grinder. [A roll of his shoulder.] Not a place anyone sane would want to visit. For the most part Central is a decent city.

You've been to that version of Central City?

[She's surprised.]

I've been to Gotham. [A clarification, even if he doesn't elaborate exactly on why.] The Central City is a decent city. For the most part.

[She shakes her head]

And how exactly do you know Barry?

[old_school]

We ran in similar circles back home. [Ha. He can't help himself.]

Barry.. helped me out with a minor family disagreement. He's a good man, your son.
