Jefferson sent this for you. It's to keep the nightmares away so you can sleep.

[A hard sound slips free and Leonard hates himself for that moment of weakness. Cisco and Allison. Jesus Christ.

He eyes the package.] What is it?

[He eyes widen a fraction at that sound. She has no intention now of telling him that Bucky and Diana were not able to stop Steve...[

It's a dream-catcher. If I understand it right the magic will keep the nightmares away. Jefferson knows more about it than I do.

And it's for the best that Leonard isn't aware that his very dangerous lover is still on the rampage somewhere in New Dodge. He might be inclined to go after him.

He opens the package and regards the dream-catcher. Nods. Closes it back up. He can't even set foot in his own room right now without fighting back a panic attack.] I'll keep it close.

[He won't take her up on it, but it's good to know. Right now Leonard needs the familiarity of the ship, of Gideon and the knowledge that Steve Rogers can remain locked out and far from him.

Cisco and Allison were also changed which means sooner or later they were all going to come back to their senses and Leonard.. isn't sure how to feel about that.

[She smiles lovingly and in hopes of supporting him.]

I don't know how, but it will. Now. Where the hell is Mick? I heard he's a toddler.

[He doesn't think so, but Leonard has never been able to dissuade his baby sister when she has faith in something. Mention of Mick draws a soft snort because he could really use his partner right about now.]

Pretty sure he's with Groot and the other kids.

No.

He needs to be with the others right now. [There's only so much he can cope with right now and while Leonard would give just about anything for his partner to be that silent wall of solid reassurance at his back, he isn't sure he has it in him to protect him when he's young and vulnerable.

He couldn't even protect himself from Steve.
He doesn't want to risk Mick.]

Lisa I can't.. he needs to be there. [He can't handle losing anything else and losing the calm presence of Mick's strength and size would simply be too much.]

[Grace starts to get a little fussy where she's lying so Lisa walks over and gently picks her up, cradling her close]

I will, Lise. [He knows she wants to help, knows that it's only his own fuckups that keep him from accepting it, but he's grateful that she at least knows when to back off.

Having a baby. I wouldn't mind doing that.

Also...been thinking about maybe asking Jefferson if he'd like to get married.

[This is everything Leonard ever wanted for Lisa. She's happy and safe and thanks to the kitsune, even the ghost of their father can't harm her.
