[And Nick doesn't for an instant doubt her resolve. A firm nod as he kisses her]

Together. [He doesn't sign what else his mind supplies which is 'forever'.]

[she hopes those prophecies are nothing more than simply nonsense. They deserve better than that. Nick deserves more than that. Wanda kisses him back]

These prophecies may not even be prophecies. Perhaps they are simply ramblings.

[Wanda can hope that they're nonsense but Nick isn't so sure. There have been enough references to his past, to his world and god help him, Tom Cullen. He has to go if only to put his own mind to rest about it.]

Maybe. But I think we owe it to this Oracle to at least investigate.

[He smiles at the kiss, a quirk of his lips as he pulls back.] And if there's nothing there, we can get in a little sightseeing, right?

A vacation together already? I would have picked anywhere else.

[Still, she's worried and it shows in her features. Wanda holds him close]

[His smile is pure mischief as he smooths a hand down her hair.] And why not? After everything in both of our worlds who says we're not due a break?

After. After all of this. After I speak with this Oracle. Then maybe we could have a break.

[And maybe invite a speedster along.]

We do need a break. Once the Oracle is safe.

[Absolutely the three of them. Savitar needs reasons to smile, reasons to be happy. Maybe they could give that to him.]

Once you are safe, Nick. Those prophecies--

[She shakes her head]

[Nick cups her cheek gently, shaking his head.]

Once we're all safe, Wanda. You included.

[She curls her hand over his. There's a red glow to her eyes as she speaks directly into his mind]

I've lost too many people that I have loved in my life, Nick.

[That still takes some getting used to, sound after a lifetime of quiet. But Nick doesn't falter as he closes his hand over hers.]

I love you Wanda.
I'm not going to lose you and I'm not leaving you. Not now, not ever.

Nick.

[She says it out loud because she knows it's strange, even for hearing people to be spoken to in their mind. She holds onto his hand and kisses him.]

I'msoscared. Don'twanttoloseyou.

[She doesn't intend to but her thoughts run errant and possibly find their way into Nick's mind as well]

[Nick can hear her thoughts, her terror at losing him. He reaches out, folding her into his arms and holding her close. He doesn't have fantastic powers, fantastic speed or any of the other amazing abilities people seem to have here. What he can offer her is calm. A certainty. He has fallen for her and as a result she's never going to lose him. He will always find his way back to her.]

[She holds onto him tightly. Nick is safe port in the storm that had been nearly her entire life. Vision had tried to provide her with some sort of comfort. But Nick...Nick had looked at her with wonder, as if she could do so much good in the world. Not of her powers but just as Wanda Maximoff.]

I love you, Nick. I can't promise that I would not lose you. Everyone I've ever loved, I've lost.

[When Nick looks at her he sees Wanda. Sweet, fierce and terribly vulnerable at the same time. He wants to offer her that shelter, to feel her curled up in his arms and know that she feels safe with him.]

I'm not planning on going anywhere.
I just found you Wanda. I'm not going to lose you now.

[She has the power to fall a vibranium and infinity stone powered being. If she wanted to, she could change the universe.]

You won't lose me. But will I lose you in these prophecies?

[There's a quick and decisive shake of his head. Nick makes a downward slashing motion with his hand for emphasis.]

After everything that I've gone through to get here, to find you, nothing is going to take me away from you.

[She never admitted that the pamphlets concerned her, scared her. Especially when it became apparent that they were about him. She holds onto his hand, just holding onto the safety that he provides.]

It's strange to think that this place, so far away from the place I grew up, has become such a home to me. That I would meet people that aren't afraid of me.

I could never be afraid of you. Yes, you have fantastic abilities, but so does Savitar and I'm not afraid of him either. He's a good man.

[Savitar. Someone else who understands what it means to have powers that people fear. She has found herself growing close to him in the weeks since she'd arrived.]

You seem to have your own abilities, Nick, to calm me down. And yes, he is. I think...I think he also is like me. Scared. But... he hides his fear in his work.

[Is he blushing at that? A little.
A breathless sound that's almost laughter as he shakes his head fondly.] Then maybe we can show him that he doesn't have to be afraid.

That he doesn't need to be by himself all the time. He's in the labs. All the time, it seems.

He shouldn't be. [Not alone. A nod.]
Maybe we can help him with that.

[She looks at him, unsure as to what she should say. This between the two of them had been so new and now?]

You have been spending a lot of time with him?

[Nick moves his hand in a seesaw sort of gesture.] Not a lot of time, I'll see him here and there and he always stops to at least say hi.
