There's a small smile at the kiss on her forehead, Evie taking a slow breath and letting it out just as slow.
"No idea. I'm glad you decided to be here." Evie replies, hugging Regina tightly before finally stepping back. The spellbook is in a bag hanging on her shoulder.
"Nowhere else," is Regina's answer. She manages not to add you're my daughter, but now that Dark Dodge Evie has her saying it, it's hard not to. It's harder still to remember she's known Evie less than a month, because her heart says that doesn't matter.
"As for Mal, I'm honestly not sure why she left me anything at all. Most of our conversations consisted of her insulting me by saying I dress like the Fairy Godmother." She glances aside at Evie while they walk into C&P. "Tell me honestly. Do I?"
