I'm aware of that. She's not going to ever see the benefits of it after what happened to her mother. So tell me exactly what the plan is so I can talk to her.

The plan is to use the ECT to disrupt the patient’s brainwaves. The disruption is intended to separate Brenner’s dominance personality from Mike’s. We’re not talking multiple treatments here, just one at a mas voltage of 240 volts.

Obviously, she can be there for it. It’s the difference between using a scalpel for serious harm, or for delicate surgery.

1 year, 7 months, 3 weeks, 4 days, 19 hours, 25 minutes until some 'dark fate' befalls me. Whatever it is. It changes, from time to time. I get an extra year or two or lose a few months. It's never more than 4 years. Once it got as low as four days. It's not necessarily dying, I could just end up like Elle's mom or lost in a hellverse like my brother, but it keeps me aware that no matter what else, Nica needs to stay around.

As you said, that can change. You know what else can change, the idea you’re the ONLY ONE who can do something to help Nica.

Even if I'm not, even if, what am I supposed to do if no one does anything and I don't do anything, and he kills her?
