They don't have ectoplasm. Some of them are capable of speaking complete sentences, holding conversations with people who aren't generally able to speak to the dead.

And I'm pretty sure that whatever kills them happens soon. Like, in the next year. But if that's true, why does Doctor Feynman look older? Does his magic work like the agey-witches magic does? You use it, you age faster?
