THEORY RE: WHY SOME PARASITES DIE WHEN THEIR HOSTS DO AND WHY OTHERS STAY KNOCKED OUT.

And I really do mean stay knocked out. The one guy that the new girl, Emily, went after? He's still out and George can't wake him at all. His parasites are also reading as unconscious.

So. The parasites that are going nuts and killing off their hosts are doing it on purpose.

Why? Scare tactic is one possible answer. I'm sure there are others, but this is the best one I have so far.

The hosts that are staying knocked out? They're so integrated with their parasites that anything that happens to A happens to B and anything that happens to B happens to A. I'm sure you're following.

I am following, but I wonder if it's more everything that happens to A happens to B, but if A doesn't want it to happen, they find someone else?

He's still out? Even if he starts to wake up, can George keep him out?

I don't know. I mean, to know that, we'd probably need to know who all was infected and what powers they have? My dad couldn't use his Push on me to get me to do anything, and I've a hard mind to read because of how it's wired. So I'm thinking something like that may be a factor? And don't we have a girl here who sniffed the flowers from the florist and had a painful reaction? I'm wondering what's going on there.

He's not responding to any manner of stimuli that should wake a person even a little. So it's...I don't know. A coma of some kind?

And do we know what flowers it was she sniffed? I should grab a sample.

A coma is good. If he's in a coma, then it's the safest way to test him: when the parasite isn't awake to resist.

Let's just hope the parasites aren't doing something while their host is out, even if the parasite's aren't exactly active, either.

But I know it is possible to kill a parasite and keep the body alive. I just don't know if I can repeat the results, which is why I want the more traditional methods tried first.
