Vegetables have never been refused by Greene. He got into my lunch bag and has already eaten what I brought for him.

Greene agrees with your assessment of him. He may not let you go very quickly, so I hope you've got nothing pressing afterward.

[Greene, being Greene, assumes everyone is coming to see him, and thus much spend time admiring / entertaining / playing with him. He lives by his own rules.]
