Do you know anything about kitsune or nogitsune?

Re: 5/30
For everything Jemma's been through in her life not messing up with Wendy for that time is amongst the most stressful in her life.]
Okay. Once she's on solid food, could you get some of that for me? I'll keep an emergency stash frozen for her here.
Re: 5/30
Re: 5/30
I'll be sure to divide it up in equal portions, before I freeze it.
And how high?
Re: 5/30
Re: 5/30
Obviously, that bit would never go near Malina. It would never even be in the same building as she is.
[If it involves preparation for Malina's safety, preparation is where Jemma excels.]
Re: 5/30
[ He obviously knows this, from Charlie and Wendy ]
Re: 5/30
[Hey, he's the dad. He gets to be totally reassured. Jemma gets it. She wouldn't hand Wendy back over to Charlie until she was reassured it really was Charlie.]
While she's still and infant, is there much special care she needs? I know she'll be with Charlie almost every second, but if she -- or you -- want an extra pair of hands, I'm here.
Re: 5/30
[ Pausing, thinking. ]
Not really. If you've been twittering on the internet or whatever, that kitsune tree is not a real thing.
[ twittering on the internet> ]
Re: 5/30
[Ha! Someone with whom she is barely speaking.]
I can promise I have not been twittering on the internet, but I have read a few folktales, but this is much more informative. I'm taking notes. If you don't mind, I'd like to do up a list of things for Kitsune care, and send it to you, to be sure I've got everything correct?
Re: 5/30
I don't mind. That way, if anything happens to me, someone else will know.
Re: 5/30
[Oh yes, she's read about kitsunes and promises.]
Perfect! Is there anything else you need to add, or wait to revise it until she's a little older?
Re: 5/30
[ Because that's super bad. ]
I can wait for now.
Unless you know how to manage teenagers who seem to think they are doomed to everlasting loneliness and despair.
Re: 5/30
[She was serious. She had looked up a few things. Jemma's just being reassuring. New dads get that.]
I'll get these notes all neatened up and send them over tomorrow for checking.
[Yes, her first project of the day will involve ways to keep her new goddaughter healthy. Other things can be pushed down the list for now. Being a godmother is very serious business. ]
I believe that's called being a teenager.
[Or being Jemma Simmons, but whatever.]
Re: 5/30
Re: 5/30
[Jemma was not a normal teenaged girl by any stretch of the imagination.]
But everything is so dramatic then. It's either brilliant, or a crisis.
