Oh, we're not trying to buy your silence, far from it. The Haus of the Black Door simply wants you to have enough money to rebuild any lost technology, perhaps a lab of your own and in the future we'll be absolutely willing to hire you to gain the prestige and recognition that you deserve. Across the galaxy and through every Haus.

What are you hiding for?

Are you afraid of being associated with me since my reputation around town has been... disintegrating.

Your offer sounds a little too good to be true without a catch.

[And while he's self-centered and tends to push things too far, he isn't stupid. He also wants to be seen as the hero, not the villain, so unless any potential criminal activity benefits him greatly, he won't go along with it.]

I would graciously like to accept your offer although I do have a couple of issues.

One, my last major project was funded for over 600 million dollars so your funding is rather below expectations. However, for now it should suffice. For continued work, I would probably need more in the future. I trust you have the means for this, otherwise go steal some from Tony Stark.

Two, I will of course need more information about what tech you'll need me to make for you otherwise I have no direction.

Setting up a better lab is a start. That I can get to immediately - once my ridiculous time served under supervision has passed for the recent unfortunate incident.
