Well, you see, I bought you these chili infused truffles and I was going to bring them to you, but then you insulted me. So I think I'll go return them.
[ Some time early in the morning, Gwen leaves her apartment for work and makes a quick stop at Harry’s apartment. No, she doesn’t knock. She doesn’t even touch the hall floor outside the apartment door. This was a stealth mission.
Left where she was sure Harry was going to find it and knowing his guardians were already out of the apartment, Gwen leaves a red gift bag on the doorknob, Harry’s name written on the tag and a small black, white, pink and blue spider underneath. Inside the bag? This shirt. And that’s it. No explanation. Does she really have to explain? Enjoy! ]
You really are just the worst girlfriend. :) [Awe..look at Harry Hook figuring out emojis...and also accidentally calling her his girlfriend. If she runs into him later that day he'll be wearing it.]
[ While Harry is out, Gwen is discovering she is very thankful for fire escapes. She's not allowed to climb up walls, as per Mr O'Malley's request, and that's fine.
She's also discovering she is thankful for boyfriends who know how to fix windows that squeak wildly, because otherwise she wouldn't attempt this.
When Harry gets home, he'll discover something new on his bed. It's a new blanket! Red. Black. Kind of heavy, roughly 15 pounds or so. And there's a note in Gwen's neat-ish handwriting.
"Hey, Pirate!
Still not going to pry about your bad dreams. You'll tell me when you want. This blanket helps with anxiety, stress. It's a weighted blanket. Give it a try! I have one back home and it's pretty amazing.
Also: whether it works or not? My window is always open just for you.
My window's always open for you too. And thank you. I appreciate it.
[He lets his hands trail over the blanket. Even if she hadn't left a note he'd know it was from Gwen. She really is the best girlfriend ever. Makes the flowers he had sent to her work look kind of silly though.
Oh yeah, BTW Gwen, you should be getting a delivery of flowers at work just before you get this text from Harry.
The card reads 'These flowers can't compare to you, but I hoped they might brighten your day a bit.'
He's not as gifted with words and writing as he'd like to be. Maybe it's a good thing they're forcing him to go to school...]
The council has spoken, and you can absolutely build a houseboat in the recreation dome lake. We would simply transfer your housing-or-land rental paperwork from where you are now to there once you've completed it.
Just a heads up: Jake is back. That's not really the heads up part. The heads up part is he has a newborn baby now and so that probably means I'm going to be sleeping at your place a lot more often because babies are bad at sleeping through the night and with my enhanced hearing, this is going to suck.
You know how we said a while back that we wouldn't do any more dates in the clinic? Or at least...I think it was something I said? I don't remember. My brain is fuzzy from that thing taking it over and I'm still working out if things I know are actually things I knew before, or if what I'm remembering is leftover from the symbiote.
text: 03/05 because she's probably bored in the clinic.
You snore.
[ No, he doesn't. She's just bored and kind of missing having him in her clinic room. ]
