You, Edward Nygma, have been chosen to participate in the heist of all heists! October 31 shall be the date. Congratulations on being one of the few given extra time for preparation.
So, I noticed that the cupboards were a bit on the bare side, so I went shopping. And I noticed that there weren't any mirrors, either, so I picked one of those up, too. It's one of those little counter ones. I put it in the bathroom. You and your hair can thank me later.
And I'm told I need to put in for a job, as well, which is so silly, but anyway... I'm thinking I might look in to that brothel that's closed. I always did want to run my own club. Wouldn't it be fun to start from scratch?
[ Oh. Kay. There are so many questions he has. So. Many. Questions. Like, where he's been for the past two or three days, how Oswald got a key to his room. Why Oswald is going through his cupboards. His bathroom. What he means by 'you and your hair'. You know. All of those questions. All of those questions are, no doubt, implied by the one he does actually ask. ]
Hello. I am well. Doing well. Better. Slightly. Still having some difficulty, but improving. It's been an interesting week. Someone else from my world arrived, and I have a roomate.
[After they return home and are reasonably sober and have had time to get cleaned up, Ed will likely notice that the mirror in the bathroom is gone. The towel that usually covers it is folded neatly with the rest and there doesn't seem to be any sign of it anywhere should he make a cursory search of the apartment.]
[ It's mildly alarming, and he's not sure why. Enough so that after he does make a cursory search, he'll go and see if he can ask Oswald about it. And if Oswald isn't in the apartment, he'll get several question marks texted at him. ]
I love you and I need to know if you were the one to mention Mr. Rogers to Lady Kathra in regards to looking into my candidacy to be the genetic father of her child.
So I'm sure you're having lots of cuddle time with Oswald, but I wanted you to know I'm really glad you're back and I'm here if you need to talk or anything.
[ Evie's not going to stick around for this. She wants her friends to share the delight on their own.
There's a small card attached, Evie's handwriting on the front saying 'Open This Note Last!' Inside two small, blue and pink striped boxes, are chocolate spheres. They're hollow. Shake them and Ed will hear the sounds of something soft rolling around inside, along with the sound of something powdery.
There are instructions on what to do with these spheres, and following these instructions will melt the ball into a delicious hot chocolate. Complete with pale blue marshmallows. Now it's time to open the note, and it says; ]
It's a boy! Jaro Kestis, due March 13th. Were looking forward to introducing him to you when he's here, and looking forward to telling the town what we're having. I hope you and Oswald enjoy the hot chocolate. Have a great day!

I would like some information as to the character of the Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot. He claims you know him best.
The most you can include the better the chances he will be chosen to father the heir of the Haus of Mercury.
Sincerely,
Lady Kathra Parker
Haus of Mercury

Could you give me an idea of what you are looking for, or do you just wish to know anything about Oswald at all?

Edward,
I love you and I need to know if you were the one to mention Mr. Rogers to Lady Kathra in regards to looking into my candidacy to be the genetic father of her child.
Again, I love you,
Oswald.

[ Well, that seems like a loaded 'I love you' in his opinion! ]
No. Of course not. Why would I do that?
I love you too,
Edward

I would like a look at the body in private, it may help narrow down a reason. I would have asked publicly but you already know my reputation.

I don't think that will be happening, no. At least not without the sheriff's go ahead.
